We are all about easy recipes that save you time. So today we have a few great ideas for your Thanksgiving dinner.
Hi Friends! Every Thanksgiving, I think back to the many dinners we celebrated in the past. My first Thanksgiving I made a very straight menu, roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole (the canned soup kind) cornbread stuffing and gravy.
That was a long time ago and while it came out just fine, I have really enjoyed adding other side dishes and taking those foods up a notch. I find it not only makes the menu more interesting, I find it becomes more memorable too.
My family members all have their favorites and they let me know which dishes they loved. I will also say that I have found it better to ask your family what their past favorites are before you make your menu plan. One year I did not serve a green bean casserole and my daughter was so disappointed! We had it on the menu every year after that, even if it was a different recipe.
So in the spirit of changing things up for great celebrations, I gathered some of these memorable recipes from my blogger friends so that you have some new recipes to consider from when planning your Thanksgiving Day menu.
