Ingredients for this easy smoothie recipe
- Bananas - The smoothie is best made with fresh bananas that are at least ripe or overripe. A few spots on the bananas are ok, but bananas should not have large dark spots.
- Honey - I use honey for a little sweetness, but you can use agave if you prefer.
- Milk - I used 2%, but you can use non-fat or almond milk.
- Ice - Ice cubes or crushed ice work best for this recipe.

I was just thinking today how I need to start my day with a smoothie. Usually I fast for a few hours because of work, but have coffee and sugary gummy vitamins in between all that. We don’t have the bananas but I’m running out to the store and sometimes they put aside ripe ones just for this reason!
Raquel
I know what you mean about the coffee! Having mine now but will definitely have a smoothie as a late morning snack today. Enjoy your weekend Tamara!
