  • corn – You can use fresh corn or frozen corn kernals. 
  • cream cheese – use the block variety, soften at room temperature.
  • sour cream –
  • Jalapeños – you can use fresh jalapeño or canned.
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Pepper Jack Cheese
  • chili Sauce or salsa
  • red onion
  • garlic
  • cumin
  • chili powder
  • red pepper flakes
  • fresh cilantro
  • green onions, sliced thin.

How to Make This Hot Corn Dip Recipe

Step By Step Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
  2. Grease a small casserole dish with butter.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, salsa or hot sauce, garlic, corn, chopped jalapeños, cumin, chili powder and chili flakes and mix until combined.
  4. Fold in shredded pepper jack cheese and Cheddar cheese.
  5. Pour dip mixture in prepared pan.
  6. Add remaining 1/2 cup of Cheddar cheese to top of the dish.
  7. Top with green onions and bake in hot oven for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Top with cilantro and serve with chips.

  • 2 cups corn
  • 12 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 4 oz can chopped or sliced jalapeños
  • 1.5 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 1.5 tablespoons chili Sauce or salsa
  • 2 tablespoon red onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • fresh cilantro A few leaves for garnish
  • 2 green onions sliced thin
