How to make this egg casserole recipe
Step 1 - Heat the oven to 350 degrees f. Lightly spray the casserole dish with non-stick spray
Slice the croissants into thirds.
Step 2 - Place into the baking dish until all have been fitted.
Step 3 - Add the eggs, cream, milk, fresh herbs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to a large bowl. Mix well
Step 4 - Dip the pieces of the croissants into the egg mixture, turning them and fully coating them. Be sure to shake off any excess mixture
Step 5 - Next, fold the slices of ham in half, then in half again, and in half once more to create the illusion of a rose. Slide the meat roses into the dish wherever you’d like.
For smaller roses, cut the slices of meat in half first, then fold them in half three times to make smaller roses.
Step 6 - Add the small slices of cheese between the bread
Step 7 - Sprinkle the edges with the shredded cheese to help it stay together.
Bake for 30–40 minutes, until the egg mixture has cooked fully and the cheese is bubbly and melted.
Step 8 - Make the sauce by adding honey, butter, and reserved herbs to a small bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals
Brush the honey butter onto the croissants once they are removed from the oven. Serve and enjoy.
