From time to time I love to share What I am Loving posts which feature items and decor ideas that have caught my eye to help me savor the season. I have been doing a little cookie baking and it makes me excited for the arrival of fall.
While I will be ready for fall, when it comes, as summer comes to an end, I can't help but feel a need to cling to the end of this season. These last few weeks of the warm season will fly by and in an effort to live life a little slower, I will still be enjoying summer salads homemade popsicles and homemade watermelon agua frescas while I can.
Time is going by so fast and I am reminded of it every time one of my kids has a birthday, and yes, one of them just had a birthday this week. It seems like only a few days ago my kids were preparing for their first day of kindergarten.
Hello Friends! How has your week been going? I know many of you had kids starting school this week and I hope it went smoothly for you. I have been preparing for the upcoming fall season.
Fall brings tailgating and football parties, pumpkin lattes, cinnamon spice and casseroles galore! I can't wait to share some new recipes for casseroles very soon. While I have not started decorating yet, I am working on a few fall craft projects to celebrate autumn.
Have you seen all of the fun decor ideas in the stores and online? It seems like it is too early, but really it isn't that far away.
Of course with autumn comes football season. We love watching the games with friends and tailgating before our games. In preparation for the celebration and entertaining season, I wanted to share a few of my favorite things that I have found helpful in the kitchen.
I am partnering with Wayfair to bring you my selections of great items for the upcoming season.
What I am Loving
These items are all things I love and use often. They make great additions to your home and also make for wonderful gift ideas.
This weekend we are hosting a fun football gathering and so begins the blending of fall into summer. Labor day will be here before you know it and suddenly we are toasting Pumpkin Lattes (or hot apple cider).
What are you looking forward to most this late-summer season. What is something you are loving right now?
Tamara
mm... watermelon everything looks so refreshing!
I really rail against the end of summer because it gets bad around here. Fall is generally amazing and winter starts out well and sometimes is even fun, but it's our spring thats terrible! I can't do another one! And to think it's going to be so long until summer comes around here again. 🙁
