Timesaving Tips and Helpful Hints

  • Variety is key: Offer a mix of hot and cold appetizers, savory and sweet, and finger foods and dips to cater to different preferences.
  • Make Ahead when Possible: Prepare as much as possible in advance to avoid being stuck in the kitchen during the game. Dips, pinwheels and baked appetizers can be made ahead and reheated, if necessery
  • Presentation matters: If you are hosting a super bowl party, arrange your appetizers attractively on platters and bowls, using fun Football decor to create visual appeal.

  1. I’m all about simple recipes… makes life so much easier…. when we cook we should also be able to enjoy the company of friends and family too!

  2. I think we will be watching the big game. We will have just gotten home from Disney.
Everything it with the bug is pretty much my favorite. I even told my husband I wanted pigs in a blanket at our wedding the way I had it at my Bat Mitzvah. I love appetizers. I love pizza poppers and chips and dips.

    1. That sounds like a great way to unwind after your vacation and I am definitely with you on the appetizers. Enjoy Disney World Tamara – can’t wait to see your photos!

  3. Hi Raquel! Wow… your blog looks amazing! I’ve been so bad to stay in touch with you… well… with the world… I am just getting back into blogging more regularly…. I guess I should also say “Happy New Year” (whew, at least it’s still January!) … You’ll see me around!

  4. I’m missing out on Super Bowl parties this year because I’m in Florida with my parents and my kiddos. But I’m soooo going to pin this for when there’s a pot luck or game event. I’m always struggling on what to serve or bring…
