Vegetable Oil – for frying

How to Make Fried Babybel Cheese Snacks
For Best results, Freeze the cheese ahead of time.
Why Freeze Babybel Cheese Before Frying?
Freezing helps the cheese stay intact while the coating becomes crispy and golden brown. If the cheese is too warm, it may melt too quickly and leak during frying.
1. Heat oil on medium high in a heavy skillet.
2. Dip each baby Bell cheese in egg.
3. Dip into bread crumbs and flip over.
4. Repeat 2-3 times, back to the egg and then the bread crumbs.
5. Place into hot skillet and fry 2-3 minutes.
6. Flip cheese to other side till golden brown (another 2-3 minutes).

The final step is to let dry on a paper towel for a couple of minutes. Then they are ready to go with cheesy deliciousness.

I have such fond memories of Babybel from when I was a kid. And this, I could get behind. The feta ones and the brie ones make me shudder, but I do love Babybel.
