This easy Baileys Brownies recipe is a wonderful St Patricks day dessert. Made with the flavors of Irish cream, chocolate and vanilla, the result is a delicious, flavorful brownie with a fudgy texture.

Ingredients For Baileys Irish Cream Brownies

This recipe only requires  a few simple ingredients. 

  • Box of Brownie Mix  - Use your favorite brand of box brownie mix.
  • Eggs - should be at room temperature.
  • Bailey's Irish Cream- or another Irish Cream Liqueur
  • Chocolate Frosting.
  • Vanilla Buttercream Frosting
  • St Patrick's themed sprinkles 

Equipment and Kitchen Tools Needed

  • large mixing bowl or large bowl
  • second bowl
  • spoon
  • square pan (I use an 8-inch pan or 9-inch pan)
  • spatula
  • parchment paper or aluminum foil

How to Make Baileys Brownies aka Irish Cream Brownies

Step By Step Instructions

  1. Prepare brownie batter per package directions.
  2. Pour batter into a prepared pan.
  3. Let cool completely. 
  4. Spread an even layer of dark chocolate frosting over the top of the brownies 
  5. Chill in refrigerator then cut into bite size pieces 
  6. Mix together frosting and baileys over medium speed.
  7. Sprinkle on themed sprinkles.

Serve and enjoy!

  • Use softened butter for easy blending.
  • You can make the brownies a day ahead of time as long as you store the frosted brownies in the refrigerator.

  • You can sad some dark chocolate chips to the batter before baking.
  • You can make a chocolate ganache as a substitute for the chocolate frosting.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box dark chocolate brownie mix eliminate water
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ cup oil
  • ⅓ cup Baileys Irish Cream or Irish cream coffee creamer for a non alcoholic version
  • Dark chocolate frosting
  • 2 tablespoons Baileys or coffee creamer
  • 1 cup vanilla frosting + 1 tablespoon irish cream mixed in piping bag with desired deco tip
  • St Patrick's themed sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Bake brownies per package instructions and cool completely
  • Spread an even layer of dark chocolate frosting over the top of the brownies
  • Chill in refrigerator then cut into bite size pieces
  • Meanwhile, in a medium mixing bowl, mix vanilla frosting with 2 tablespoons of baileys.
  • Pipe a small dab of vanilla frosting/irish cream mixture in the center of each piece Sprinkle on themed decoration
  • Serve and enjoy!

    YUMMMM. I think we have discussed this in the past - my obsession with brownies that have.. something.. different than just plain brownies. Like caramel or peanut butter, or FROSTING, or even chocolate chips. This is heaven.
