Instructions

Step 1 – Pour cake mix into a large bowl. Add water.

Step 2- Add eggs and oil and mix just until blended.

Step 3 – Form cookie dough balls with the help of a cookie scoop. Place on prepared baking sheet.

Step 4 – Press sprinkles on the top of each cookie. Bake as directed.

Step 5 – Press a candy kiss candy into the center of each cookie. Transfer to a cooling rack with a cookie spatula.

Remove from the freezer and enjoy.

Substitutions & Variations

For a fun twist, here are a few ways you can change this recipe.

  • Icing- You can top these cookies with a drizzle of Royal Icing or melted candy melts for additional pizzaz.
  • White Cake Mix – Substitute white cake mix for chocolate for a different look. You could even add a couple of drops of green food coloring to make the cookies green.
  • Chocolate Mint – add a 1/2 teaspoon of mint extract

  • Add Extra Flavor – Boost the flavor of your cookies by adding either a teaspoon of vanilla extract or almond extract to the cake mix batter.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 15.25 oz box Chocolate cake mix or Devil’s Food cake mix
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup St Patrick’s Day sprinkles
  • 24 Chocolate Kisses

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, mix the cake mix, oil, and eggs using a hand mixer.
  • Use a cookie scoop to gather the dough, then dip the top of the dough ball into the sprinkles, and set on the baking sheet, spacing mounds of dough 2 inches apart.
  • Transfer the cookie sheet to the oven, and bake cookies for 8-10 minutes, until the cookies are done.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven, and immediately add a Hershey’s Kiss to the center of each cookie.
  • Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack.
