- Chocolate Cake Mix
- Egg
- Oil
- Baileys Irish Cream - made from irish whiskey and cream.I prefer the Baileys Original Irish Cream or the Baileys Light Irish Cream.
- Powdered sugar
- butter
- heavy cream
- Festive sprinkles - For the sprinkles, you can find them here. I suggest ordering them early so you have them in time for the holiday. They also go great on ice cream too!

Variations and Substitutions
- You can sub vanilla buttercream for the Irish Cream Frosting.
- Instead of Baileys chocolate cupcakes, you can make Baileys Vanilla cupcakes with a vanilla cake mix.
- Feel free to experiment with other irish cream liqueur brands if you have one you like.
- You can top with chocolate flakes or chocolate shavings in place of the sprinkles.

How to Make Baileys Irish Cream Cupcakes
Step 1 - Prepare Chocolate Cake mix batter. Add Irish Cream.
Step 2 - Pour into prepared baking tin.
Step 3 - Prepare Frosting. When cool, frost cupcakes with piping tip.

Irish Cream Cookies
Equipment
- Large Bowl
- electric mixer
- cupcake tin or muffin tin
- piping bag and tip
Ingredients
- 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix
- 2 eggs
- ¾ cup water
- ⅓ cup Irish Cream Liqueur
- ¼ cup butter, softened
Baileys Frosting
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup room temperature butter
- ¼ cup Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur
- ¼ cup Heavy cream or milk
Instructions
Cupcakes
- Heat oven to 350 degrees f.
- Line cupcake pan with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix with eggs, oil and water per package directions. Add Irish cream and mix with a hand mixer or stand mixer on low speed until blended.
- Pour chocolate cupcake batter into cupcake pan and bake cupcakes 18-22 minutes until a toothpick inserted in cupcake comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting.
Irish Cream Buttercream Frosting
- In a large bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, Mix softened butter, Irish Cream Liqueur, milk and 1 cup sugar.
- Gradually add remaining sugar and blend well after each cup,
- A stand or hand mixer is recommended for making this frosting.
- Frost cooled cupcakes with a knife or using a decorating tip.
