St. Patricks Day Dessert Pretzels

Hello Friends! Are you feeling the season right now? We had some sun, rain, wind and cold this weekend. Weather like that makes it hard to plan sometimes because the forecast changes so often.

Today’s recipe is an easy one when you are looking for a tasty St. Patrick's Day snack or dessert to put together quickly. I love simple recipes like this one because I can use just a few ingredients I already have on hand and the amount of clean up is minimal. These are also great as a TV viewing snack too!

Dipped Pretzels Ingredients

Ingredients for St. Patrick's Day Snack Pretzels

Pretzels – of course, they are the star of this show. I prefer pretzel rods as they are easy to dip, but you can use regular pretzels too.

Candy Wafers – These are the easiest to use for this recipe, but you can also use white chocolate chips too.

Sprinkles– All good things come with sprinkles, right? Any combination of green sprinkles will work for a festive St. Patrick's day theme.

They are super quick to make and will be ready to eat in minutes. They just need a little time to set.

Variations on this recipe.

Like I mentioned above, you can use melted white chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips for this recipe. If that is what you have on hand, I would use them. Just melt the chocolate in the microwave at 30-second intervals until melted. You will need to work with the chocolate relatively quickly before it hardens, so just know this. If it starts to harden before you are done, just pop the chocolate chips in the microwave for 15-20 seconds.

If using small pretzels, set on a wire rack so that they can set.

This St. Patrick's Day Dessert and it also makes a fun food gift or party favor. You can put these in treat bags tied with ribbon to make someone's day!
