Next, we had one of their delicious homemade soups. Tonight's soup was the vegetable soup.
Upon the suggestion of our friendly server, I decided on the Linguini Carcioto and was glad I did. Linguini in a garlic cream sauce with roasted garlic, artichoke hears, fresh herbs and sun-dried tomatoes made for my favorite dish of the evening. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the pasta and vegetables made for a wonderful entrée.
My husband had the Filet of beef, a wonderful filet mignon served with potatoes. Tender and juicy, it was served with scalloped potatoes and fresh vegetables. We were enjoying our dinner and occasionally playing name that tune with the music coming from the piano player in the bar area.
Finally we tasted the house made bread pudding. A wonderfully warm and light pudding topped with vanilla ice cream.
Utopia Good Food & Fine Art is participating in Dine Out Long Beach this year, so this is a terrific time to check them out for a prix fixe lunch or dinner. Their patio dining area is a great place to people watch and enjoy the great weather.
