Hello Friends! Happy Fall! I am so excited to welcome a new season and feel the cool breeze in the air.
While fall brings changing colors, sweaters, and pumpkin lattes, it also brings some wonderful flavors of apples and spice. This applesauce bread is a sweet cake-like bread that is wonderful at any time of year.
This applesauce bread recipe is my version of an applesauce cake recipe that I got from an apple festival years ago. I have not been apple picking in years, but we loved going to the farms back when the kids were smaller to enjoy apple cider and all the festivities.

I just love celebrating the season with apples. If you like this recipe, be sure to check out these other apple recipes:

This applesauce bread is sometimes referred to as an apple cake and most likely, you already have everything you need to make it.
List of main ingredients/Tips for making Applesauce Bread:
Applesauce – of course, this is the star of this show.I use unsweetened applesauce because I can control the amount of sugar, but you can use sweetened applesauce if you wish.
Raisins – I love the raisins in this bread. They are a nice addition, but you can also change up the recipe with dried cranberries if you wish. Of course the bread is also good without raisins if preferred.
Nuts –I like pecans or walnuts in this bread. You can use either but this time of year, I prefer to use pecans.
