This Mango Greens Smoothie is my breakfast of choice most weekday mornings. Filled with fresh fruit and vegetables, it is really tasty, filling and good for you! I just love making it with the fresh mango that is in season right now. It is filled with vitamins too!
This is also super quick to make if you prepare the ingredients in advance.
I have been drinking these for a couple of months because it has been a goal of mine to eat healthier this year. As you know, I love comfort food and desserts (especially cupcakes), but I do not like the extra pounds that come with them.
What I love about these is that they are easy to make, they are loaded with health benefits!
Within a few minutes, breakfast is ready! I make mine with fresh mango because it is one of my favorite fruits, but I change it out for pineapple once in a while too.
For a quick time-saving tip, put the ingredients in baggies in the refrigerator the night before and just dump them into your blender with ice.
With a little advanced preparation of the fruit, you can whip this up in about 2 minutes. It is creamy and refreshing and tastes like a milkshake and it costs only pennies to make!
Seriously this easy, simple recipe idea is not only a quick breakfast option - it is also a good way to sneak some green vegetables into your family's diet.

It really is and it is a tasty way to get those greens.

Well there you go! I would like the mango taste - helping with the greens taste. Not that I don't love kale, but it goes so well with other flavors if you're going to drink it.
Raquel
Yes very true about kale -it blends especially well in this.

I would have never thought to put Kale with Mango. Looks and sounds delish. I have to start making these too and lay off the cupcakes.
Raquel
It is a nice combo and yes, they are a good substitution for cupcakes once in a while. I love me some cupcakes though! 🙂
