It's been a while since I've talked about apps but today I wanted to share with
you a few apps that help me not only save time, but help me keep up my productivity.
The first app is TinyScan. Have you ever had a document or paper and wished you could
scan it right then and there? You may try to take a picture with your smart phone, but it's not quite the same.
TinyScan allows you to actually make tiny scan of the document on your phone. Tiny scan allows you do copy receipts letters, invoices and other documents into PDF format
The second app I love is to do list. I've tried many different types of to do list apps in the last few years, and this one is my favorites. One of the reasons I like it is because it allows me to access my to do list from my desktop, iPad, and iPhone.
The free version allows you to create to do lists, priorities and projects, complete with sub-tasks. You can even have tasks that you have assigned to yourself differentiated to those you have delegated to others.
Many times a to do list item will come into my head I need to just jot it down somewhere to do list is perfect for that because of the mulitple access capability. If you have the premium version (I do not), you can also set specific deadlines that will sync to your calendar and you can also post dealines with reminders to yourself. Todoist is available for Apple products and Android through Google Play.
The other app I love is Google Drive. Google drive allows you to save photos, documents, files and is accessible from different devices without having to download and worry about which version is the one you want. It also makes it easy to share documents with others. You can view these files, even if you do not have an internet connection.
Have you used any of thes apps? What are your favorite apps to stay productive?
Tamara
I NEED both of these. I can't even fathom what our phones can do these days. What will it be like in five years?
Raquel
Isnt' that the truth Tamara? I can't even imagine apps 5 years from now!
Christie

These sound great. Love all the great apps and these look so handy!
Raquel
They are all great apps Debbie and I use a couple of of them daily.

Such great tips - the scanner looks awesome! I am going to look into all of them.
WIth the Google Drive - do you know if it is linked to a person's Google + account - and whether or not access to the photos would be private unless you choose to share them? I am new to Google +, and I am still trying to figure it all out!
Thanks!

The Google drive is your own driving you can decide if you want to share anything on it. You can be the only one who sees it if you want to. Google plus is intended to be more public, I really like Google plus as I'm getting to know it a little better.

Evernote has been my go-to app for a while now. I have a few notebooks that I have created to organize my notes, and the ones that I've added/edited pop up at the top of the list on mobile. Makes it SO easy when I am out and about and need a phone number or address for a real estate client (my day job) or some other detail that I put in a note.
I'm getting ready to take a 2 week road trip and I'm going to create an Evernote folder for the trip. Then add a separate note for each town so I can easily pull them up while on the road. Phone numbers and links and addresses are clickable which is really nice too.
Thanks for the heads up about Tiny Scan. I'll be downloading that to my phone!
Raquel
I have used Evernote a couple of times, but I do not think I am utilizing it to its fullest. I like your idea of using it for travel. I think I'll try it on my next trip!

Great list! I just had ToDo List recommended to me this week!
Raquel
I love it and it even gives you some productivity graphs to see how productive you are.

Hi Requel! Thank for for these...especially the scanning one! That one I can and will use. I will check out the other ones too because I do make lists and normally just put them on "notes" but these might be easier. And the google drive could be handy too. I'm always looking for new fun apps! ~Kathy
P.S. Yeah Im with Susan in that your comment luv link doesn't appear to be working???

I agree with the wonderment of what we will be able to do in 5 years. I am amazed at what has been developed in the PAST 5 years. Although I will also keep the personal connection of actually working with a real person as tops!
Raquel
I agree, personall connections are truly the best!

Saw your post at the C.R.A.F.T party! I had to stop by since your photo really caught my eye!
Google Drive is seriously a lifesaver! Dunno how I'd live without it for work. I'm really glad you blogged about this, because I am sure there are a lot of readers you have who don't know it exists!
Anyway, I'm so glad I found your blog--I'm following you now, and I look forward to your new posts! 🙂
Would love it if you stopped by our Facebook page and said "hi!"

These are great! I really need something like this. The more I'm "paperless", the better!
Raquel
Thanks Christine! Paperless really is better for most things.
