Today I wanted to share some helpful bathroom cabinet organization tips! Keeping your bathroom organized can save you time every day so it is always a good time to organize it!
Bathroom Cabinet Organization Tips
So you may recall that I gave my bathroom medicine cabinet a makeover recently. I decided to update my bathroom under-the-sink storage area and work on the bathroom cabinet organization. At one time, the storage area looked like this:
What a mess - how did I even find anything?
Now honestly, I have had it reorganized for a while since then, but I still need to dust the shelves once in a while. As you can see, I have the usual items, shampoo, cream tanners, hairbrushes, lotions and sprays. These days, this is what my cabinet looks like.
I have three areas of storage for all my stuff. It looks so much better (with the exception of the ugly pipe in the center).
I now have three separate areas that I used storage containers to help organize.
Area #1 is a stackable drawer-style shoe box.
It holds things like my razors, sunscreen, extra toothbrushes and toothpaste. These types of boxes are deep and long so they are perfect for full-size products.
Area #2 uses smaller plastic drawers and these hold my cotton squares, dental floss, and small toiletries. Because these drawers are short, you can find items really quickly. You can label the drawers with a label maker if you like.
Area #3 is my hairstyling bin. Here, I keep my curling iron, round and flat brushes, and hairspray. It is actually meant to be a wine carrier I believe but it works great for hair products. I just make sure the irons are cooled before putting it in the carrier. Super convenient!
I can just pull the basket out for styling and slip it right back when I am done.
Then the final addition was that I added a basket that hangs over the door for my lotions. Saving time so that I can just grab and go!
This has been so much easier to keep organized since I bought the bins.

What tips do you have for bathroom organization?

I like the over-the-door idea for lotions. Those are all over my bathroom and I need a better management system for them. Great post, thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous! I don't have an under-the-sink cabinet at all, so I am total jealous. Most of my extra toiletries and such go in the hall linen closet.
Looks pretty, AND handy.
Btw, something seems to be amiss with your commentluv - maybe you need to reinstall?

Thank you Beverly for visiting! Oh no, thanks for letting me know about Comment Luv - I will check it out.

Hi, I too love the hair tools basket! Where did you get it?? I've been looking for something like that but not having much luck...
Organizedisland
Thanks Raquel! I believe I found it at Home Goods. Look for something that is meant to hold wine/beverages bottles - they will be taller containers.
