If you are looking for an easy scone recipe to use with all those lovely fruits that are abundant, here you will find nine different simple scone recipes for your munching pleasure. I love scones with my coffee because they are not super sweet, but are a wonderful complement to coffee or tea.
If you did not know how to make scones, let me tell you that they are super simple to make. Once you make the dough and slice it like a pizza, you simple bake and will have a nice warm baked treat. You can easily change up the ingredients too. I like to make mine with whatever fresh fruit is in season. They can be frosted, dusted with powdered sugar or eaten plain.

Scones are a nice addition to any meal and are fun to take to a friend or family member just for fun. I have to admit I do not make these as often as I would like, but when I do they are special.
I started gathering these when a friend of mine asked me how to make scones for a tea party, so now I am sharing these all with you! Pair these with some of eggs and mimosas and you have an easy brunch idea!

Scone Baking Tips
Making scones can be so much fun and is so easy. Here are a few tips to make the best scones.
Use Cold Ingredients: To achieve a flaky texture, make sure your butter is cold. Cold ingredients will help keep the fat in solid form until they melt in the oven, creating small pockets of air and adding to the texture of the scones
Don’t Overwork Them. When mixing, avoid overworking the dough. Overmixing can lead to tough and dense scones.
Properly Measure Ingredients: For better measurements, spoon the flour into the measuring cup and level it off with a knife or flat edge. Avoid scooping the flour directly from the bag, as it can compact the flour and result in too much flour.
