Ingredients for Frozen Yogurt Cups

Plain Greek Yogurt. You could also start with flavored Greek yogurt as long as the flavor profile works well with berries. I usually use plain yogurt.
Sweetener. You can use honey, agave or a calorie-free sweetener to keep the dessert on the healthier side.
Vanilla Extract. Real, pure vanilla works best. You could also use a flavored extract such as lemon, orange, or maple extracts.
Fresh Raspberries and Blueberries. You can use any of your favorite fruits or berries for this recipe to create variety!
Substitutions and Variations
Fresh Fruit & Yogurt Flavor - Change it up with easy variations! Use fresh mango, banana, strawberries, pineapple, or kiwi for the fruit. Use flavored yogurt such as lemon, strawberry, vanilla, or chocolate.
yogurt granola cups - make a granola base with store-bought or homemade granola for an added layer of flavor.
coconut flakes - can be added for a fun flavor,
chocolate chips - these can be added for the chocolate lovers.
Equipment and Kitchen Tools Needed
- Cupcake Liners. I recommend the foil type if you want disposable liners.
- Muffin Tin. This helps the yogurt cups keep their shape until they are frozen, so it needs to be one that you don't mind sticking in the freezer.
- Freezer.
- Mixing Bowl.
- Mixing Spoon or Hand Mixer.
How to Make Frozen Yogurt Cups
Place 6 cupcake liners into six different sections of a muffin tin. Add the yogurt, Swerve, and vanilla to a bowl, and stir to combine well. Fill the cupcake liners up evenly with the yogurt mixture, leaving room for fruit. Press the fresh fruit into the top of each filled cup. Freeze the cups until the yogurt is firm and ready to serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
Step 1 - Mix yogurt, sugar and vanilla until blended.

Step 2 - Spoon Yogurt Mixture into lined muffin tin.

Step 3 - Top with fresh fruit.

Step 4 - Freeze until firm and serve.

Tips for Best Results
- Start with your favorite Greek yogurt. The better the yogurt, the better the finished product.
- Enjoy these yogurt bites frozen or thawed!
- Add these to a lunch box in frozen form (in a container of some kind), and they will be ready to eat (still partially frozen) at lunchtime. Pack a spoon and enjoy!
- Add a popsicle stick in each muffin cup to give your frozen yogurt cups an easy handle.
- Have your kids enjoy their yogurt pops on the patio all summer for easy clean-up with the hose!
- Use disposable paper cones instead, for a fun cone-shaped treat. Brace them as they freeze so that nothing spills.
