These easy summer fresh fruit smoothie bowls are perfect for a summer breakfast or afternoon treat!

Did you have a wonderful weekend? We got to sneak away for a little trip to celebrate our anniversary and take in a Bruno Mars concert. We were in Las Vegas where it was very hot during the day! The good things about hot days, are that I tend to eat less! I love to lighten things up during the summer and one of the ways I love to keep it healthy is to incorporate fresh fruit into more meals. These fresh fruit smoothie bowls make the perfect summer breakfast or lunch idea. I used fresh strawberries, pineapple, and blueberries, but you can use whatever fresh fruit you would like to make these easy fresh fruit smoothie bowls.

The ingredients are simple.

Want a healthy breakfast idea? These fresh fruit smoothie bowls with honey and granola are a nice change!

I like to use the yogurt and one type of fresh fruit make up the bowl, and then add the other fresh fruit and honey as toppings. I think it keeps the smoothie portion tastier and the fruit and honey sweeten it up. These smoothie bowls were made with a pineapple-yogurt blend, but you can mix all the fruit up in a blender if you prefer. I think it looks more appetizing with the fruit on the top.

These easy summer fresh fruit smoothie bowls are great for a low carb breakfast idea!

Topping it off with some granola just makes the right combination of sweetness and crunchiness that makes this a wonderful fruity meal idea.

  1. What a fun way to get some fruit all together. I like that this is a little different than a regular smoothie. Thank you for sharing at Think Tank Thursday link party. Shared and Pinned.
