Mango Yogurt Parfaits are a wonderful treat for brunch or breakfast or even dessert. I have made these Mango Yogurt parfaits for dessert when I want something sweet, but with some healthy fruits. I am always trying to eat healthier and incorporate fresh fruits more often.
I used fresh mango for these and added some low-fat yogurt with some maple granola for a nice crunch. Mango is one of my favorite fruits and I never get tired of eating it.
Sometimes to save time I buy the cut up mango from the grocery section, but only if it is on sale. If it is not, it is better to buy whole mangos and cut them yourself. They take a little more time, but you will save a few dollars doing that.
And speaking of dollars, I am starting a new frugal fun section on the blog where I will share great deals I find as well as craft and gift ideas that cost only a few dollars. These posts will be found under the Frugal Finds tab on the main page Organized Island. I found these glasses for $1.00 each at Target and they are perfect for juice, wine or parfaits!
Anyhow, back to the mango parfaits.
These taste delicious and are low-fat and also are a source of vitamins A, B & C.
I also add a little non-fat topping for just a little sweetness. If your family likes fresh mango, give these a try.
You can prepare the mango the evening before or even buy fresh mango from the store already peeled and cut. It really is so simple to do yourself and you will find you can save a dollar or two doing it yourself.
Another fun way to serve these is to let everyone make their own. Just put out the ingredients and everyone can build their own parfait. Add some other fresh fruits for a colorful treat.

Mm.. Cassidy loves mango anything. I used to only like it dried but I've begun to appreciate it fresh and juicy too.
Perfect breakfast!

Hi Raquel -
Mango is one of my favorite fruits as well. Combined with plain yogurt and granola you get a wonderful sweet/tart taste that I love. Can't wait to make one.
As I was reading your post and looking at the photos I was actually admiring the serving glasses - and then I got to the bargain at Target part. Good deal!!!
Raquel
Thank you Neena! These really taste more decadent than they are! 🙂
