The Los Angeles Travel and Adventure Show was named one of Southern California’s top 100 events by BizBash and I am very excited that it is coming to Los Angeles next month. I love to travel and when I do, I look for destinations that offer tourist attractions and historical tours, restaurants and cafes that offer a local culinary experience and activities and shopping excursions that allow me to explore the unique offerings of the city.

On my ever-growing travel bucket list, I have cities such as Austin, Texas, Nashville, Tennessee and Savannah, Georgia, to name a few. On my world-wide list are Canada, Costa Rica, Greece and Austria. So I am looking forward to checking out this event that will feature hundreds of exhibiting companies and countries representing some of the world’s most sought-after destinations, tour offerings and travel experiences.

The Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show promises a weekend of discovery and inspiration to help travelers “dream it, plan it and book it”. Event attendees will be able to shop exclusive travel deals, attend travel seminars on three educational stages and meet prominent travel experts. It’s been described as “the world’s best travel guide.”

I am a huge fan of Rick Steves and have faithfully used his travel guides and listened to his podcasts when we explored Rome earlier this year.

Additional Travel Show Activities:

  • Savvy Traveler Stage – where visitors can learn the how-to tips on traveling smarter and hassle-free. It will showcase the latest travel technology, provide travel safety information and teach handy travel skills.

  • Interactive, family-friendly activities – including a rock climbing wall, a scuba pool, the
  • Taste of Travel Stage – a culinary demonstration stage. I am excited about this one because I love food of just about every ethnic variety.

Exhibitors will be available to give attendees details about travel and tours to destinations from around the world including Costa Rica, Europe, India, Mexico, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Hawaii, Africa, Turkey, Thailand, and Alaska – all offering exclusive specials and trip giveaways.

It’s a great show for families!” This year, the show has attracted an array of new exhibitors such as Sintra-Portugal Tourism, Collette Vacations, Tokyo Tourism, Cambodia Tourism, David McGuiffin’s Exploring Europe, and many more.
