These two Easy Christmas Cocktail recipes are just the thing to celebrate this season! Make these fun and festive Christmas Vodka Cocktails for those 21 and older.
The holidays are always fun when celebrating with others. These festive beverages are perfect for get-togethers and parties this holiday season. These are easy holiday drink ideas - let us know if you try them!
In preparation for the holidays, my friend Deanna and I mixed together a couple of festive vodka cocktails for the Christmas season.
We like to experiment and make unique drinks for the season. It is really fun to offer guests festive beverages for Christmas or any other gathering. A featured beverage just makes for a fun experience and you will see them at weddings too!
So we got to work. It is a tough job, but someone has to do it right? We got our ingredients out and in a few minutes - success!
The first vodka cocktail we named a Cape Cod Kiss which is fairly low-calorie with just a hint of sweetness added.
Cape Cod Kiss Holiday Cocktail
Cape Cod Kiss Vodka Christmas Cocktail
- 2 oz. vodka
- 4 oz. cranberry juice
- 1 oz. cranberry ginger ale
- Mix items in a glass or cocktail shacker.
- Stir well and pour over ice.
Then we got to work on the second one and wanted to add the winter flavor of peppermint to the mix. It has a cranberry flavor and is a really nice cocktail. We will be making these again for sure. We decided to make it the Crandy Cane (crandy because we used cranberry ginger ale) - and thought we were clever for thinking of it.
Crandy Cane Christmas Cocktail
Crandy Cane Christmas Cocktail
- 3 oz. cranberry ginger ale
- 1 oz vodka
- ½ oz peppermint schnapps
- Candy canes for garnish
- 1. Add first three ingredients in a shaker filled with ice.
2. Pour into a martini glass.
3. Hang a candy cane from the edge of the glass.
For another fun holiday cocktail, check out this Rudolf Rum Spritzer.
To make these drinks non-alcoholic, you can leave out the vodka. You can substitute peppermint extract for the schnapps.
Also, be sure to check out our other holiday cocktails from some of our friends.
We hope you enjoyed these vodka-based festive beverages for Christmas.
