Hello Friends!
In preparation for the holidays, my friend Deanna and I mixed together a couple of festive vodka cocktails for the Christmas season.
We like to experiment and make unique drinks for the season. It is really fun to offer guests festive beverages for Christmas or any other gathering. A featured beverage just makes for a fun experience and you will see them at weddings too!
So we got to work. It is a tough job, but someone has to do it right? We got our ingredients out and in a few minutes - success!
The first vodka cocktail we named a Cape Cod Kiss which is fairly low-calorie with just a hint of sweetness added.
Cape Cod Kiss Holiday Cocktail

Then we got to work on the second one and wanted to add the winter flavor of peppermint to the mix. It has a cranberry flavor and is a really nice cocktail. We will be making these again for sure. We decided to make it the Crandy Cane (crandy because we used cranberry ginger ale) - and thought we were clever for thinking of it.
Crandy Cane Christmas Cocktail

To make these drinks non-alcoholic, you can leave out the vodka. You can substitute peppermint extract for the schnapps.
