Ingredients for Hot Buttered Rum Coffee
Batter Mix Ingredients
Brown Sugar. Dark or light brown sugar will both work. Dark has a more intense flavor.
Unsalted Butter. I don't recommend using the salted kind for mixing drinks.
Cinnamon. Ground from the inner bark of specific trees, I do recommend choosing high-quality cinnamon for cocktail mixing.
Ground Nutmeg. Freshly ground is amazing, but if you have jars in your pantry just make sure it is fresh.
Ground Cloves. A little goes a long way! Don't be tempted to estimate with cloves.
Vanilla Extract. Do not use imitation vanilla in this cocktail.
Cocktail Ingredients
Hot Water or coffee. Microwave your water or use a coffee machine to get it good and hot.
Batter Mixture. All the yummy goodness of the spices and butter go into the cocktail mix.
