I also love savoring the season with fresh fruit flavors. While we are lucky to have fresh strawberries nearly year round in California, the fruit tastes better during the summer.
I made this tasty strawberry bruschetta recipe the other day and loved how they tasted. The honey brings a nice flavor to the berries and don't even get me started about Arugula, which is another one of my favorites.

Strawberry Goat Cheese Bruschetta
Ingredients
- 1 4 oz package goat cheese
- 1 cup Arugula
- 1 carton fresh strawberries
- 1 French bread baguette
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions
- Slice the French baguette into ¼" slices.
- Place bread on cookie sheet and bake at 325° for about 6 minutes.
- Destem and wash strawberries.
- Slice strawberries (about ¼")
- Spread 1 teaspoon goat cheese on each baguette slice.
- Add one Arugula leaf to slice.
- Layer two slices of strawberry on each leaf.
- Drizzle with honey and serve.
