Anytime my mom made Shake and Bake Pork Chops when I was a kid my mind went immediately to the Brady Bunch episode with Peter saying “Pork Chops and applesauce” and I’d walk around saying it all day until dinnertime.

The seasoned mix comes together in mere minutes and creates a tasty golden-brown crust with so much flavor. Your whole family is sure to love this, making it a great choice for an easy weeknight dinner.

Time Saving Tips & Tricks

  • Use a wire rack to allow for air circulation around the chops. This will also help to avoid a soggy bottom.
  • Be sure to coat the chops in olive oil, as it helps the coating stick and crisp up properly.
  • Broiling at the end adds extra crunch.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator

How to Serve Shake and Bake Pork Chops

Serve these classic style pork chops with Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Smashed Potatoes, or Baked Rice.

They also go well with fresh vegetables like Lemon Roasted Cauliflower or Simple Sheet Pan Vegetables.

And don’t forget the applesauce!

How to Store Leftovers

Allow the pork chops to cool completely before transferring to a container for storage. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

How to Reheat Leftover Breaded Pork Chops

You can reheat these in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, but my preferred method is the oven or air fryer to keep that crispy crust.

In the Oven – preheat oven to 350 and place pork chops in a pie plate or ocean safe baking dish. Heat in the oven for about 10 minutes until heated to your liking.

In the Air Fryer – place pork chops in the air fryer basket and reheat at 400 degrees for about 5 minutes or until heated through.
