This easy creamy honey mustard dressing is not only wonderful on salads, but it is also great with vegetables, chicken, and beef too! Best thing is, that this Honey Mustard dressing recipe is made with just five ingredients!
During the summer, I find myself making more salads for dinner and thought I would share this recipe from a few years ago.
Hello Friends! Finally, the weekend has arrived. This was quite a week and today I am sharing a recipe that was first published a few years ago here on the island. I wanted to share it again since we have so many more new friends now then we did back in 2014.
during the summer, I find that we enjoy eating cooler, non-baked meals and this creamy salad dressing recipe is perfect to make on a day you want some relief from the heat. It not only requires no cooking, but the meal itself is cool and refreshing.
This recipe takes only five simple ingredients, and the best part is they are staples you are likely to have on hand already. Those are truly the best recipes.
I like to add unflavored yogurt to the recipe to reduce the amount of mayonnaise (and calories). I made this recipe with yellow mustard but you can also make it with Dijon mustard.
For the salad, I used a basic spring mix and added tomatoes, bacon, and purple onion. find purple onion the best flavor for salads and love the color it adds.
This dressing is perfect for a summer salad or also for bread and pretzels. It is smooth and creamy mustard with a little tanginess to it.
It also makes a great sauce for dipping and is perfect for chicken tenders, potato chips, and fresh vegetables. But did you know that Honey Mustard with French Fries is SO GOOD? I know that may sound strange but try it and see what you think
I was planning on working on some more 4th of July decorations this weekend, but most of the World Cup games I watched went into overtime. I also spent a lot of time with family this weekend so I did not get to it. What did you do this weekend?
