This White Hot Chocolate Recipe is a perfect Starbucks copycat recipe and is easily made in your home. And with the cooler weather coming, it is often a lot cheaper to make hot drinks at home.
This White Hot Chocolate Starbucks Copycat is different than our recipe for Vanilla Milk, which is another favorite Holiday Hot Drink idea that is made without chocolate.

Hello Friends! How is your week going? We are enjoying the cool weather of the season and enjoying watching our shows.
Lately, I have been watching all of the Christmas movies! I am so addicted even though I can predict the outcome in like, the first five minutes. There is just something about watching it all unfold the way it is supposed to so that they can all live happily ever after.
Why This Recipe
Today’s recipe is an easy one when you are looking for a tasty warm drink to warm up without a trip to the coffee shop. I love simple recipes like this one, because I can use ingredients I already have on hand and the amount of clean up is minimal.
One of the best things about this drink, is the way all the flavors come together in just minutes too. It is delicious and tastes a lot like the one on the Starbucks menu. Like my Nutella Cocoa, it really is a special recipe!

What I love about this recipe is that it is a nice warm winter drink than anyone can enjoy during the fall and winter months.
How To Make White Hot Chocolate
This recipe is easily made on your stovetop. Just blend the milk, chocolate and vanilla in a saucepan. Iw till be ready in minutes.

White Hot Chocolate Ingredients
White Chocolate Chips - I like these for this recipe.
Milk - I use 2 % but you can use whole milk or almond milk too
Whipped Cream - I am a strong believer that hot chocolate must be topped with whipped cream.
Vanilla extract - this is also optional. It just adds a nice flavor to the drink. You can also use vanilla syrup.

This is one of my favorite white chocolate recipes and it can be easily doubled.

For an easy way to make a fun variation, you can add ¼ teaspoon of peppermint extract and top the whipped cream with peppermint bits or a candy can for a fun Christmas beverage.
