This spicy mango margarita is the perfect drink to enjoy for cocktail hour or for serving with Mexican food.

Made in minutes, this refreshing cocktail recipe is the perfect way to celebrate the season.

Why This Recipe Rocks

This spicy mango margarita recipe is a fun twist on a classic margarita. Infused with fresh mango flavor.

This spicy margarita is easy to make at home. From scratch is always tastier than using a store-bought margarita mix.

These are perfect for any Mexican fiesta themed gathering or for a cinco de mayo party.

Ingredients

Just a few simple ingredients are needed to make these spicy mango jalapeño margaritas.

  • mango nectar or mango juice
  • tequila - I like a Blanco or silver tequila
  • triple sec -  is an orange flavored liqueur found in the liquor section of grocery stores.
  • fresh lime juice
  • Tajin seasoning or chili powder
  • lime wedge

See recipe card for quantities.

Instructions

The full recipe instructions for crumbl copycat recipe are in the recipe card, below but here is a step by step overview of the recipe

First step: Pour a cup of ice into the cocktail shaker.

Pour tequila and triple sec into the shaker.

Add a squeeze of lime

Add mango juice.

Prepare the rim of your glass with a chili-lime salt rim.

Hint: Rub the rim with a lime and then place glass upside down on plate with chili salt.

Add a couple of slices of jalapeño to the drink.

Substitutions & Variations

You can easily change this up a bit.

  • Cointreau - if you don't have triple sec, this is the next best liqueur to use.
  • Sweeter - instead of agave, you can use simple syrup to sweeten.
  • Fresh Mango Puree -or fresh mango juice will also work in place of the mango nectar.
  • Salt Rim - You can always use salt for the rim instead of a spicy one. Use kosher salt for salting margarita rims.

Equipment

Just a few bar tools are needed for this delicious cocktail

  • cocktail shaker
  • jigger
  • margarita glasses

Storage

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will last for a couple of days. More than likely, you won't have leftovers.

Top tip

You can make a big batch of these by multipying the recipe ingredients into a pitcherl
