Ingredients

- Fresh Burrata cheese pearls
- Ripe heirloom or cherry tomatoes – I used grape tomatoes
- Fresh basil leaves
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Balsamic glaze or reduction I like this balsamic glaze.
- Salt & pepper
Substitutions and Variations
- Burrata You can substitute with fresh mozzarella
- Tomatoes I prefer grape or cherry tomatoes, but you can use heirloom tomatoes, Roma tomatoes or tomatoes on the vine.
- Basil You can swap with arugula for a peppery twist.
- Balsamic Glaze You can use a drizzle of good quality aged balsamic vinegar.

How to Make Burrata Caprese
Arrange washed basil leaves on the bottom of the platter. Wash and slice tomatoes and arrange on a serving platter.

Sprinkle the Burrata pearls all over the salad. Drizzle generously with olive oil and balsamic glaze. If desired, you can sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and serve.

Serving Suggestions
Serve with baguette garlic bread or crostini. This also goes great with my Pasta Al Forno or my Parmesan Garlic Chicken.
Storage
It is best to store ingredients separately, but If you’ve already put it together, store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 24 hours.

Ingredients
- q cup grape tomatoes
- 12 fresh basil leaves
- 1 8 oz tub burrata pearls
- 3 tablespoons balsamic glaze
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Wash and pat dry basil leaves. Arrange on serving dish.
- Wash and slice tomatoes. Sprinkle tomatoes over basil leaves.
- Sprinkle the Burrata pearls all over the salad.
- Drizzle entire salad generously with olive oil and balsamic glaze. If desired, you can sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and serve.
