  • Brown sugar. Firmly packed light brown sugar
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Ground nutmeg

  • Bisquick mix. A versatile baking mix – Store-bought Bisquick is just fine, but you could also make your own Bisquick for this recipe if you like.

How to make the best apple cobbler recipe

Preheat oven to 375°Peel and chop apples into bite-sized pieces. In a medium saucepan, add apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of butter. Cook the apple mixture for 3—4 minutes until the apples become tender.

Set aside. In a separate mixing bowl, make the topping: mix 3 T butter, Bisquick, milk, and sugar until crumbly

Pour cooked apples into an 8 x 8 square baking dish. Top with topping mixture

Heat oven and bake for 50—55 minutes.
