Philadelphia Cheesesteak Slider Ingredients

You just need a handful of ingredients to get that famous Philly flavor.

  • Slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls – find these in the bread aisle or produce section. You can also use mini hoagie rolls.

  • Bell peppers – green and/or red, sliced
  • Onions – white or yellow, sliced
  • Sliced Provolone cheese or American cheese – Cheez Whiz or cheddar cheese spread is also an acceptable substitute
  • Worcestershire sauce – use a fish free sub if needed

Raquel’s Time Saving Tips

  • Ask the grocery store butcher to slice the steak meat “shaved thin”.
  • Use pre-sliced steak or you can even use deli roast beef.
  • Slice vegetables ahead of time and store in the refrigerator until ready.
  • Use a frozen pepper/onion blend instead of chopping fresh. They cook down beautifully and cut prep time in half.
  • Keep the rolls attached when slicing for easy topping. Slice individual sandwiches when they are finished cooking.
  • Use a large sheet pan for assembling and baking multiple slider batches at once if feeding a crowd.

Serving and Storage Suggestions

  • Serve with French fries, onion rings, or potato chips. I love them with my Roasted Smashed Potatoes or Crispy Parmesan Accordion Potatoes.
  • These sliders are also great with a side of au jus or garlic aioli for dipping.
  • I love eating these with pepperoncini or marinated cherry peppers on the side.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Eat within 3-4 days.
