These Philly Cheesesteak Sliders with Hawaiian rolls are sweet, savory, and irresistibly cheesy. A quick oven-baked recipe that’s perfect for weeknight dinners, parties, or football food. Minimal prep, maximum flavor, and always a hit with family and guests.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add in the sliced onions and green peppers. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized.
Add the shaved steak to the pan along with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Break the meat apart with two forks as it cooks to keep it from clumping.
Cook until no longer pink, then remove from heat.
Slice the sweet rolls in half horizontally, keeping the rolls attached as a sheet. Place the bottom half on a baking sheet.
Evenly spread the steak and veggie mixture over the bottom buns. Lay provolone cheese slices over the top of the steak, then place the top half of the buns back on.
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter and dry onion soup mix. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the buns.
Bake for 17-20 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite sides!
