Hello Friends! I am so excited to share a fun recipe with you today.

We have been enjoying football games and birthdays with the family recently. There is nothing like getting together with family and friends around the table, to enjoy time together.

Today’s recipe is an easy one when you are looking for a simple fall dessert idea to put together quickly. Celebrating the season with great fall food is a nice way to slow down and enjoy the simple moments of life.

I love easy recipes like this one because I can use ingredients I already have on hand and the amount of clean up is minimal. This muffin also has a nice sweet, crumbly topping.

One of the nice things about pumpkin muffins is that they are a great sweet snack that you can easily share with others. I love sending a few muffins to my neighbors and friends.

I love to use canned pumpkin for this recipe because it is so simple to use. The flavors of the pumpkin pie spice just bring about wonderful memories of previous fall seasons.

Pumpkin Muffins Easy

This pumpkin muffin recipe has been in our fall menu for over a decade.

These little muffins are perfect with hot vanilla milk or tea. I recommend eating them warm, even if you have to pop them in the microwave for a few seconds.

Tips for This Recipe

I used canned pumpkin for this recipe, but you can use cooked pumpkin puree for this as well.

Blend the dry ingredients in a bowl separately, before combining with pumpkin mixture for best results.

Some people like to grease muffin tins for the muffins, but I really prefer using kraft paper liners. They help to ensure that muffin comes out clean and they save on clean up too!

There are several ways to change up Pumpkin Muffins. You can easily add ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts to the recipe.

Another great way to change them up is to add some chocolate chips (⅔ cup) to the batter, making them chocolate chip pumpkin muffins.

You can use this recipe for mini muffins too! You can decrease baking time to 12-14 minutes.t Just make sure that you bake until a toothpick inserted in the muffin comes out clean.

Pre-measure the dry ingredients the night before and store in a covered bowl. I like to do this with muffin and bread recipes for easy preparation in the morning. Any sealed container will help with this, but I especially like these.
