Summer is a great time to make this Easy Crepe Recipe. I love to fill them with fresh fruit, ice cream or a combination of both. I am attempting to savor summer for as long as I can as it is my favorite season.
The crepe batter recipe was one that came with a crepe pan I had about twenty years ago. The pan is long gone, but the recipe still works. You do not need a specialty crepe pan to make this recipe, just a non-stick saute pan.
The recipe I am sharing below uses fresh strawberries for a dessert crepe, and I make it with bananas and other fruit as well. It also makes some wonderful breakfast crepes by adding eggs, bacon and cheese. This easy crepe recipe also works as a base for savory dinner crepes. Try adding chicken and vegetables with a little creme sauce. So good!
You can make the crepes ahead of time, but they taste best fresh.
Just add your fruit filling,
And Voilà!

Crepes are the best! I usually stick to butter and sugar on my crepes, but now I want to try strawberries and whipped cream 🙂

I remember finding a magical crepe truck in Montreal and having them for.. all three meals. It's something that has always intimidated me to try myself, but you have inspired me.

Ah those crepe trucks are magical. They really are not that hard to make and are a nice change for recipes.
