Tips for best results
- A serrated knife makes it simple to cut pinwheels. My favorite tool to use is my bread knife.
- For this dish, I prefer to use baby dill pickles because they are less juicy than sliced pickles and won’t make the tortillas soggy.
- You can customize these cream cheese roll ups with your favorite ingredients like banana pepper rings, dill pickle relish, sun-dried tomatoes, roast beef, green olives, red bell peppers, pepperoni slices, and even shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Be sure to evenly spread the cream cheese mixture on each tortilla so they stay together when you cut them into pinwheels.
- Make sure to use room temperature cream cheese so it’s easier to spread.
- Keep any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- If you are on a low-carb diet, you can still enjoy these tortilla rollups by using low carb tortillas.
- Add a bit of red pepper flakes or black pepper to the cream cheese, or use spicy salami if you want a bit of spice.
