Step By Step Instructions
Prepare Rice Krispie Treats
- Spray a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or coat with a thin layer of butter.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the marshmallows and stir until marshmallow mixture is blended.
- Remove from heat and gradually add rice cereal.
- Spread rice cereal mixture in an even layer into a prepared baking pan.
- Using a buttered spatula or wax paper spread rice cereal mixture in an even layer into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray.
- Let mixture set. Cut into bars (4 rows across and 4 rows up) about using a knife.

- In a medium microwavable bowl, microwave chocolate chips uncovered on Medium (50%) 2 minutes, stirring once, until softened and chips can be stirred smooth.
- Stir until all chips are melted
- Dip the end of a popsicle stick or lollipop stick in melted chocolate.
- Insert stick in a treat.
- Dip into melted chocolate. Use a butter knife to spread the chocolate over bars evenly. You can do this for pretzels too if you like.
- Decorate with eyes and a red nose and let set.

- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 4 cups marshmallows
- 6 cups rice krispie cereal
- Candy eyes
- 32 small pretzels
- 16 Red coated chocolate candies Red
- 32 candy eyes
Instructions
- Prepare the rice krispie treats.
- Melt the chocolate according to package instructions.
- Stir until chips are completely dissolved.
- Dip the tip of popsicle sticks into the chocolate and then into all of the treats.
- All to set for about 4-5 mins.
- Dip the treats into the chocolate mixture
- Shake off excess and use a n=knife to cover treat.
- Set treats on parchment paper.
- Add eyes and nose then the ears.
- Let set an hour or two before serving. Chocolate should be completely set before packaging.
