coffee liqueur – I prefer Kahlua coffee liqueur
vodka – you can use regular vodka or peppermint vodka for a stronger peppermint twist
peppermint schnapps – available at grocery stores or liquor stores.
half and half 
Ice cubes

Directions:

  1. To rim the glasses, add 3-4 tbsp. Corn syrup to a saucer, and crushed candy canes or peppermints to another saucer.
  2. Dip the rim of the glass into the corn syrup, followed by the crushed candies.
  3. For the drink, fill your glass about halfway with ice.
  4. Add in vodka, peppermint schnapps, and Kahlua

Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz. kahlua coffee liqueur
  • 1 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. peppermint schnapps
  • 2 oz. half and half
  • Ice
  • Corn Syrup for garnish
  • Crushed candy canes or peppermints plus optional mini candy canes for garnish

Instructions
 

Rim Glasses

  • Add 3 – 4 tablespoons of corn syrup to small plate or saucer,. Place crushed candy canes or peppermints to another saucer.

  1. That’s creamy and dreamy! I just found out that our very favorite chef/mixologist in training will be missing our annual New Year’s party (she has NEVER missed it and and has been coming with her family since she was Des’ age) and so maybe I need to whip these up to cheer people up.
