Raquel’s Time Saving Tips

  • Use low heat on your slow cooker so the chocolate doesn’t burn or seize
  • Stir the mixture well once the chocolate and almond bark have melted for a smooth, even coating
  • Add the green food gel after melting for a bright, uniform color
  • Press the christmas sprinkles and red heart on top lightly so they stay in place as the clusters set
  • Let the clusters cool fully before transferring to an airtight container for storage.

Substitutions and Variations

  • Try salted or unsalted peanuts, spanish peanuts, or even pumpkin seeds for different textures
  • Mix in candy melts or semi-sweet chocolate chips for a touch of contrast with the white chocolate
  • Try dark chocolate to make dark chocolate peanut clusters
  • Add a bit of chocolate liquor to the mixture for an adult version
