How to Make Reindeer Strawberries Step 1

Step 1 – Wash and fully dry strawberries. Melt chocolate according to package directions.

Step 2 – Dip strawberries and place on parchment paper

Step 3 – Add eys and nose and break pretzel pieces.

Step 4 – Add pretzel antlers to strawberries.

Raquel’s Time Saving Tips

  • Use microwave chocolate melts instead of tempering chocolate
  • Line up all decorations before dipping to work assembly-line style
  • Be sure that strawberries are dried off before dipping in chocolate.
  • Chill strawberries beforehand so chocolate sets faster
  • Make them the morning of your party for best texture

These Reindeer Strawberries are an easy no bake Christmas treat made with fresh strawberries and chocolate. They are perfect for holiday parties and Christmas brunch.

Ingredients
  

  • 20 Strawberries
  • 40 Candy eyes sprinkles
  • 20 Pretzels
  • 20 Red M&M Candies
  • 10 oz Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate Flavored Melting Wafers

Instructions
 

  • Melt wafers as directed on the bag. Some microwaves are different. I use defrost mode and do it in one minutes increments stirring in between.
  • Lay out parchment paper. Using a skewer press into the top of the strawberry and then dip in the chocolate covering most of the strawberry. Leave a place at the top not coated to add the pretzel antlers.
  • Place on top parchment paper and immediately before the chocolate dries add on the red M&M for the nose and the two candy eyes.
  • Break the pretzel and press into the top area that doesn’t have chocolate.
  • Keep in fridge until ready to serve.
