Raquel’s Time Saving Tips

  • Use bright green candy melts or add 3-4 drops of green food coloring to white chocolate for that classic Grinch color.
  • Melt the candy in 30-second intervals on low heat or use the double boiler method to avoid overheating.
  • Add a teaspoon of coconut oil for a smooth texture and shiny finish.
  • Tap the edge of the double boiler or bowl to remove any excess coating or drip before freezing.
  • Set the cookies on parchment paper or wax paper over a prepared tray to prevent sticking.
  • If using festive sprinkles or green sanding sugar, sprinkle them before the chocolate hardens.
  • Let the Oreos come to room temperature before serving for the best bite.

Substitutions and Variations

  • Use red velvet Oreos or mint Oreos for a fun flavor twist.
  • Add extra chocolate drizzle using remaining candy melts for a layered look.
  • Wrap the cookies in plastic wrap or store in a resealable bag for gifting or storage.
