Hello Friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We watched some football, met a new member of our extended family and also did a little crafting! How the weekends manage to go by so fast, I just don’t know.
If you have been around here a while, you know that I love crafts that are simple, quick and inexpensive. The other day, I found these cute wooden hearts in the dollar bins at Target.
I think they call that area the Bullseye Playground these days. I am at Target at least once a week and always have to stop by that section because they have so many cute and amazing things for just a few dollars.
I decided to make a fun memo board with this cute heart board. This is not only a great Valentine’s Day craft idea, but a project can use year round.
Heart Bulletin Board Craft Supply List
- heart-shaped board
- twine
- glue gun (with glue)
- mini clothespins
- faux flowers
- scissors.
Instructions:
Step 1 Begin by wrapping twin around bulletin board tightly, securing with hot glue on the back. Wrap 5-6 times around the heart.

Step 2 Secure flowers to board by tucking in twine. Use hot glue gun to secure.

Step 3 When the glue is dry, add mini clothespins to twine.

Step 4 Hang your notes

The result is a cute bulletin board for yourself or as a cute Valentine’s Day gift. It also makes a fun Valentine’s craft for a tea or party activity.

It actually makes a fun bulletin board that costs less than $5 to make. It is even less if you use these heart boards.
