Tips for the Best Results

  • Let your cream cheese sit at room temperature so it’s easier to mix.
  • Use a hand mixer if you want a smoother cream cheese mixture.
  • Divide cheese mixture into a smaller ball for the snowman’s head and a largest ball for the body.
  • Roll each in parmesan cheese right before serving so the coating stays fresh.
  • Use the tip of a baby carrot for the nose and black peppercorns for the buttons and eyes.
  • For fun, add cheese mittens or use red bell pepper strips as a scarf.

Substitutions and Variations

  • Replace the Italian cheese blend with white cheddar, sharp cheddar, or jack cheese for a new flavor.
  • Add a little bit of ranch seasoning for a zesty twist.
  • Sprinkle in cayenne pepper or onion powder to boost the flavor.
  • Try shaping the cheese mixture into a christmas tree or yule log for another holiday appetizer idea.
  • For a sweeter option, turn this into sweet cheese balls by swapping the savory seasonings for a touch of honey and nuts.
