Servings: 8
- 16 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend
- 1 tablespoon minced chives
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 cups grated parmesan cheese
- 1 baby carrot
- 6 whole peppercorns
In a large mixing bowl, use a spatula to spread the cream cheese around to soften.
Add the shredded cheese, chives, oregano, and garlic powder, and fold all of the ingredients together until everything is well incorporated.
Take about 1/3 of the mixture and form it into a ball for the snowman's head.
Take the remaining 2/3 to make the snowman's body.
Wrap these in plastic wrap, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
Before serving, add the parmesan cheese to a plate, and roll the cheese balls in the parmesan cheese until they are completely coated.
Place the smaller ball on top of the larger one, and decorate the snowman by cutting the tip off of a baby carrot for the nose and making his eyes and buttons from the whole peppercorns.
