3 tablespoons onions, chopped
2 16 oz cans chili beans, undrained

1 15 oz can chili con carne (no beans)

1 teaspoon chili powder
Brown onion and ground beef in skillet.

Cook on Low 4 - 5 hours

Serve with shredded cheese and onions, if desired.
tailgate chili
This also makes a great chili for tailgate parties!
You can substitute ground turkey for the ground beef if you wish.

This is very similar to the chili I always create... but the seasoning I always use is Shelby Carroll, learned from a young age there was nothing else like it..

Love using the crock pot too.. and now that it's so hot out, I need to break that out this week!
