Pretzel Beer Cheese Dip Stovetop Recipe
Equipment

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 3 tbsp. all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup beer
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2 cups freshly shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- In a medium skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Once melted, sprinkle the flour over the butter, and whisk to combine. It will form a thick paste.
- Cook 1-2 minutes.
- Slowly pour milk over flour mixture, whisking to combine.
- Once milk is incorporated, whisk in the beer.
- Add the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt, and stir.
- Finally whisk in the cheese, and continue cooking, stirring until the cheese is melted and smooth.
