How to Make A Crescent Dough Christmas Tree
Step by Step Instructions Overview

Step 1 – Prepare the spinach dip filling by adding dip ingredients to a bowl.

Step 2 – Mix until fully incorporated. Set aside.

Step 3 – Lay out crescent dough sheet and cut into two matching tree-shaped triangles.

Step 4 – Spread the Spinach dip filling on one triangle.

Step 5 – Add the second dough triangle o top of the one with the dip.

Step 1 – Make “branches” by cutting slits on both sides and twisting. Brush with egg wash and bake until golden.
Step 7 – Serve warm. I like to serve with marinara sauce.

Raquel’s Time Saving Tips
- Drain spinach well — squeeze it in paper towels to avoid soggy dough. This is SUPER important.
- Keep dough chilled for easier shaping and cleaner cuts.
- Use a pizza cutter to create straight, even lines when making the trees.
- Make ahead: Prepare the tree up to the “bake” step and refrigerate 24 hours before baking.
- Warm up leftovers in the air fryer for crispness.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 8–10 minutes or in the air fryer for 3–4 minutes
Serving Suggestion
Place the Crescent dough Christmas tree on a wooden board with small bowls of marinara, ranch, or warm cheese sauce.
