These easy peanut butter cups are so easy and scrumptious!

Hello Friends!

It has been several years since I first made these and shared them on the blog so to celebrate the weekend, I thought I would share these with you since some of you may have missed then the first time. They are a wonderful cupcake dessert for a picnic or any day and they are worth making - trust me!

These  Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes are nice when you want some peanut butter and chocolate goodness in your life.

Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes Recipe

And who doesn't want that?

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes.jpg

I used a devil's food cake mix from a box and made a peanut butter frosting. I usually make my frosting from scratch because I really like the taste and it is worth the extra few minutes to make.

Peanut Butter Cup Cupcakes

.

Peanut Butter Frosting

3 cups powdered sugar

1 cup creamy peanut butter

½ cup butter, softened

¼ cup milk

Cream butter with an electric mixer and slowly add powdered sugar. Add peanut butter and milk. Whip until smooth and creamy. Frost cupcakes after cupcakes have cooled.

I added a mini Reese's peanut butter cup and sprikles to the top. These are really good when you are watching TV or pretty much for any time.

These cupcakes make The Voice that much better. Do you watch any of the singing competition shows on TV?

My daughter religiously watches The Voice, too...in fact, even my hubby has caught on to the judges' names! She is the peanut butter cup lover in the family...so The Voice AND these marvelous cupcakes would make her day!

I LOVED the first season of The Voice! But I just can't do reality TV anymore. But what I CAN do are these cupcakes. PB and chocolate are soul mates. Totally.

Hi, I'm Raquel! I am a self-proclaimed foodie and have enjoyed cooking and baking since I was little. I loved baking cookies with my mother and grandma as a child, and later making dinners for my parents to foster my passion while in high school. I also had a passion for organizing and keeping things tidy.
