Raquel’s Time-Saving Tips

  • Assemble the “sandwich” crackers a few hours ahead and add the eyes just before serving.
  • When I make these I use a piping bag (or small sandwich bag with a corner snipped off) for faster assembly. This step really helps when you want to make these quicker.
  • Pre-break pretzel legs and store them in a small container before party time.
  • Make a variety platter with both sweet and savory spider crackers to save prep time.

Storage & Make-Ahead

  • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day.
  • Best served fresh to keep crackers crisp.
  • If transporting, pack the crackers and filling separately and assemble on-site.
