We are celebrating the warm spring weather here with a happy hour. I am a big fan of happy hour and love to try new cocktails so it was fun to try the new Captain Morgan’s Grapefruit Rum that the captain sent over the other day.

I am always looking for refreshing cocktails to make and this grapefruit lemonade cocktail was just the drink to sip while enjoying the outdoors.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz White Rum
  • 12 oz Lemonade
  • 1 lemon wedge
  • ice

Instructions
 

  • Fill glasses with ice.
  • In a cocktail shaker with ice, add one part rum to 3 parts lemonade.
  • Shake well about 20 – 30 seconds.
  • Pour in glasses.
  • Squeeze lemon wedge and add to drink
  • Enjoy!

  1. What a gorgeous drink! So refreshing. We finally got some warm(ish) weather here. We don’t really get sundress and BBQ weather until mid May or so, but it’s coming!
