Today we are talking college care packages on the blog. If you have a son or daughter that just left for college, then you might be going through a little separation sadness. That makes it a great time to send them a care package!
I'm sharing one I put together with some fun and necessary items. I love sending these and I have found that they not only made my kids happy, but it makes me happy to know that they love and appreciate receiving them.
I found these items at my local Walmart and they were at great prices since all the back to school items are discounted.
For this care package I included:
- Notebook - this small notebook is great for journaling and notetaking
- Markers - my daughter and I both love colorful markers for planning (I like to think she takes after her mom)
- Sticky notes - perfect for annotating books and making notes
- sport socks - because you can never have enough of these
- Cupcake sponge - because it is so cute and great for taking care of your skin
- Schick® Quattro For Women® - a great disposable shaver because I want her to feel clean and confident while at school and work.
I find a nice sized mailing box and fill it to capacity. I like to add a few season decor items make it festive and fun.
Other college care package item suggestions that I have sent in the past include:
- holiday window clings
- candy
- home-baked cookies
- highlighters
- gift cards
- small desk knick knacks
- nail polish
Putting together a care package is a great way to make someone's day. Walmart has some great Schick® Xtreme 3® Ultimate Razors for men too!I
If you have a college student, let them know that there is a #SchickSummerSelfie Sweepstakes going on right now and your college student could enter to win some serious money for college tuition. Everyone could use that!
Have you sent a college care package lately or do you remember getting one? What was in it?
